With Thanksgiving coming up, closely followed by even more holiday eating, it’s the perfect time to get some preventative exercise in and support several local charities at the same time. If your fam is ready for some turkey trottin’ and reindeer runnin’ this holiday season, read on and get ready to lace up your tennies and participate in these local fun runs.

Resolution Run 5k

Start your new year off with a run and a dip in Lake Washington at the Resolution Run 5k and Polar Bear Dive. Festivities kick off with a 5k run/walk at 10:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day, followed by a free Kid’s Dash at 11:30 a.m. Participate in the (optional) Polar Bear Dive and festive post-race celebration including a free chili feed, coffee, hot cocoa and other tasty treats.

Good to Know: Kids 10 and under can compete in the free Kids Dash. Each participating child will receive a participant bib number to wear as well as a finisher's ribbon at the completion of their race.

Registration Costs: Visit their website for registration costs.
