After months of rainy, cloudy weather, Seattle families are taking every chance they can get to soak up the rays. And what better way to celebrate a beautiful sunny day or sunset than with family… and food? To make the most of mealtime outdoors, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants that serve delish dishes with a view to match. Click through the gallery to see our favorites.
Brimmer and Heeltap
This corner Ballard spot is something special: sophisticated enough to be a dinner date destination, but casual enough to bring your tiny foodies in training without glares from fellow diners. Though the inside is lovely, the seats outdoors are tucked behind the restaurant in what feels like a secret garden hideaway. It’s green, shaded from direct sun on those ultra-hot days, and the perfect little spot to enjoy dinner or weekend brunch (plus really great cocktails for Mom and Dad).
