After months of rainy, cloudy weather, Seattle families are taking every chance they can get to soak up the rays. And what better way to celebrate a beautiful sunny day or sunset than with family… and food? To make the most of mealtime outdoors, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants that serve delish dishes with a view to match. Click through the gallery to see our favorites.
Skillet Diner – Ballard
The airstream-turned-brick-and-mortar burger spot has shops in Capitol Hill and the Seattle Center Armory, but we like best the largest of their restaurants, in Ballard at the uber-eco Greenfire Campus. While you’ll find a few outdoor seats at Skillet’s Cap Hill shop, the patio at the Ballard Skillet seats about 20. If the kiddos need something to follow up their oversized grilled PB&Js, Parfait ice cream next door warrants a visit for the housemade push pops alone.
