When it comes to healthy cities, Seattle tops the list (It’s true; the Google said so!). We’re super green and we eat lean. Hey, even our kids love kale chips as a snack. But sometimes, you just need to indulge your taste buds. So, go bike the Burke or SUP the morning away on Alki, then take the fam (and your appetite) for a tour of some delightfully delish food fads that are truly drool-worthy. But maybe not so skinny jean friendly. Nosh on!

Dressed-up French Fries

As if French fries weren’t heavenly enough already, the inventive folks over at French Fry Heaven had to go and gussy them up even more! They serve up gourmet “angels” (classic fries) and “saints” (sweet potato fries) to hungry families from their kiosk at Southcenter Mall. Just try to resist the twice-fried allure of these Belgium-style fries. We dare you. And the flavor combos aren’t too shabby either. With over 50 to choose from, finding a fave might be a bit of a challenge. We recommend the St. Mick Saints for the kiddos and the Canadian Archangels (poutine!) for their parents. Nosh away, all!

Find it: Try a taste of heaven at the Southcenter Mall location.

Have you and the kiddos tried any of these delish fads? Tell us about your experience in a comment below.
