Seattle’s Magnolia Village is a charming neighborhood where you can eat, shop, and play with the fam. Start out by exploring one of the many parks. Ella Bailey Park was just built in 2007 and boasts fantastic city views, open space, and a playground.
Magnolia Playfield (next to the Community Center) is another family favorite and has a pool open in the summertime. If you’re more of a nature-loving explorer, grab the kid backpack and check out the miles of trails and beach at Discovery Park (PS: Discovery Park also offers various classes and camps for kids).
Next, find an assortment of cafes and shops in the village. We recently told you about the newly opened family-friendly Serendipity Cafe and the locals rave about Luigi’s Pizza and Mondello Ristorante.
You can also get the scoop on the newest ice-cream shop in town, Cocoa and Cream. The ice cream sandwiches are amazing, there’s an easel in back for drawing, and they do themed birthday parties too.
