It’s a win-win all around. Read on to find mom’s next favorite gift.
We love this idea for those who can’t make up their mind. Fleurt is a gift shop that specializes in a variety of gifts including apparel, accessories, plants, jewelry, aromatherapy, books, home goods and books, to name a few. Right now they are offering free personalized shopping by way of FaceTime calls. Here’s how it works: Send them a message through Instagram and explain what you might be looking for. Let them know your name, phone number and when the best time to call you might be. Then, they will FaceTime you and do a walk-through of the shop where you can pick out anything you like. After all that, they will package up your order right then and then and ship via USPS for free as a thank you. They only ask for an order of at least $35.

Cakes of Paradise
Cakes of Paradise specializes in tasty treats you can’t find anywhere else, including tropical-flavored cakes like passion fruit, guava, mango and coconut. While their menu is somewhat limited because of current circumstances, they still offer a nice selection of whole cakes, cake slices, mini cupcakes, pie slices, cookies and more. They say that “it’s certain that you’ll taste the essence of Aloha in every bite.” Visit their website, check out their selections and give them a call with your order. You can swing by the bakery any time from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. They would appreciate pre-pays over the phone to minimize exposure when you pick up.

For many families, a trip to the tulip fields is a regular Mother’s Day tradition. While that’s not possible this year, you can still share a similar experience with mom by ordering a box of 20 tulips ($35.99) from Tulip Town. They will ship two bouquets of ten of the freshest tulips available to your door. Kids can also make a lasting impression by gifting mom a stemless, tulip-etched wine glass ($12.99) or choose an etched vase to go with the fresh tulips ($16.99-$24.99). Then, you can visit the Tulip Town website to experience 360-degree views of the fields in Skagit County.
