Barnes & Noble: Saturday Storytime
Ongoing storytime and crafts at the Westwood Village B & N store.
Mockingbird Books: Storytime
Free event offered daily, except Sundays. Everyone welcome, but usual ages range from newborn-6 years old.
Elisabeth C. Miller Library: Saturday Stories
10:30 – 11:15 am
Stories and activities that celebrate gardens, plants, and nature! Programs are presented one Saturday a month September through June, for children ages 3-8 and their families. All ages are welcome.
The Elliot Bay Book Company: Children’s storytime
Held most Tuesdays and Saturdays, ages 2 and up, 11:30 am
Free. Meet at the castle in the children’s section.
Reading With Rover: Traveling Storytime Program with Literacy Dogs
Although Reading With Rover programs are running all the time, you’ll have to check the website’s Event Page to find out where and when. In the “Rover” program, children with reading difficulties actually read stories to a dog–and the dogs loves listening!

Seattle Art Museum: Family Fun Days
10:00 am – noon
Second Saturdays of select months, free with museum admission.
Create works of art, enjoy special performances, take kid-inspired tours of the galleries and more! Designed for kids ages 3–12 and their parents/guardians.
Seattle Asian Art Museum:
10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Free admission on first Saturday of the month for families.
Free kiddie film screening with admission on the first Saturday of the month.
Bellevue Arts Museum: Get Crafty Saturdays
1:00 – 3:00 pm
$2 material fee/child or free with admission
Gage Academy of Art: Saturday Classes
10:00 am – noon
Innovative creative art instruction for children. Classes last 4 or 5 weeks and each has a different theme/focus. Class size is limited and prices depend on the class taken.
Playtime and Entertainment
Woodland Park Zoo: Puppet Show
Saturdays and Sundays, 3:45 pm
Animal puppets tell stories and sing songs. Participants are invited up to dance and meet the puppets after the show. Show lasts approximately 5 minutes.
5Focus: Drop-in Childcare
8:00 am – noon
$3 per child, per hour. While kids play, parents hang out on-site and use the free Wi-fi, read a book, chat with friends, or even get a 5Focus massage!
Fitness and Exercise

Ages 3-10, $14 + tax/child.
