It’s hard to imagine two more disparate worlds than fine art and sports, but Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Robin Layton has merged the two in a remarkable show entitled 12, showing at the Winston Wachter Fine Art gallery downtown. Fans of both photography and the Seahawks will want to experience this exhibit and its unique perspective on the twelfth man community that has become an integral part of Seattle and beyond. The Winston Wachter gallery describes Ms. Layton’s work as “[an] ability to capture the momentum and energy of the game, while simultaneously expressing the intimacy of belonging to this group.”

If you get the chance, you’ll want to take the time to stop by and view the images. And, if you want an opportunity to chat with Robin Layton herself, try and make the opening reception on Wednesday, January 7 from 6-8PM.
