Excited parents, caregivers, and kiddos in search of a fun place to learn, explore and play head over to Greenwood Ave. to a cool little spot where creativity and imagination are all around. When they walk through the doors to PlayMatters they have arrived at a place where adults can be social and kiddos will have a blast. The biggest and best playroom in town is filled with gently used toys: a train table, Lego table, play kitchen, work bench, puppet theater, dollhouse, easel, wooden toys and puzzles, and more tools for dramatic play, art, and small motor skills. Seating is intermingled with in the children’s play area so parents can be a part of the action while children play. You can sip a cup of coffee or juice from playmatters, or bring in lunch. Families can sign up for a variety of plans, from a monthly pass to a low daily fee. PlayMatters offers drop-off play for children 3+, as well as after school care and occasional structured activities including arts and crafts, story time and seasonal events.
