Read on for your all-access pass to seven chart-topping music schools.

Mode Music Studios

The Bass(ics): West Seattle rocks at this North Delridge studio. With kid-decorated '45s on the walls and an old record player ready to spin some tunes, Mode has a friendly, funky atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Making music is a blast with Erin Rubin-Tate and her crew of musicians. Want to learn a Katy Perry song or a classic guitar riff? Kids are taught in private lessons so they can learn in a way that’s just right for them; playing music they love. If your mini Justin Timberlake or Beyonce is eager to show off their talents, Mode has winter and spring recitals, and everyone can play the monthly all ages open-mic at the Skylark Café (next door). Psst... Mode just opened their popular Rock Band Camps year-round. Rocktastic!

The Beat: Bass, drums, guitar, piano, ukulele and voice are offered.

Band Camp: Kids ages 6 & up will love Rock Band and Girl Band Camp and for lil' rockers ages 3-6, there's Mini Rock Band Camp.
