With the start of April (and a weekend highlighted by April Fools’ Day!), there’s plenty of spring fun to be had rain or shine! On our lineup: a mousekerade ball, a silly concert for kids, a springtime carnival at the house with a red door, a pajama party for the little ones, a class about to pop out of its shell, and a program that might get your feet wet. Of course, you also might want to check out the annual Cherry Blossom & Japanese Festival at the Seattle Center or get down and boogie at South Park Rocks.  Plus, we’ve got a few extra tips for some upcoming fun including a Mommy Caravan Class at Greenlake (to get you ready for a summer 5K with your stroller) and the opening of Tulip Town in Skagit County April 1-30.


Radio Disney’s Minnie Masquerade
This weekend, you’re invited to a costume party with Minnie, Daisy, and the whole Clubhouse gang! Share the fun and excitement of playing dress-up with Radio Disney and Disney Junior and celebrating the upcoming debut of “Minnie’s Masquerade.” See the new episode before it airs, make a crown or masquerade mask (just like the one Minnie wears in the show) and play some awesome “Minnie’s Masquerade” themed games with the Road Crew. Spring Children’s Concert
Celebrate spring with the Seattle Men’s Chorus and the Seattle Women’s Chorus at this annual family-friendly concert for kids!  Watch as the Choruses are joined by 30 Kidstage kids from the Village Theater to provide an entertaining, inspiring, and completely free concert at Seattle’s magnificent McCaw Hall. This one-hour performance will be pumped full of silly costumes, laughter and lots of audience participation. Gilda’s Spring Carnival
If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate spring, then head to the house with the big red door. Gilda’s Club Seattle is throwing a spring carnival for kiddos of all ages! Enjoy carnival games, prizes, face painting, tattoos, clowns, a cake walk, yummy food and much more! Plus, check out Gilda’s Club and the many support programs they have to offer. Preschool Pajama Night

Life Under Water Nature Program
Did you know that an animal can live its entire life in a small pond? Ponds are a unique and important habitat, and this weekend you can learn about the different animals that live in and around ponds, their survival techniques, and how some have adapted to live under water.
