With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’ve put together some fun ideas on how to spend time with your lil’ sweetheart this weekend. Consider: a fab Lunar New Year festival, a valentine-themed day at the zoo, a fun workshop for little spies, a special ball for dads and daughters, a clinic with lots of teddy bear TLC, and a sweet activity for the Littles. If you don’t have a sitter lined up for Valentine’s Day, consider Parents’ Night Out on Saturday. Kids will spend a super-fun evening experimenting with science while you celebrate Cupid’s holiday a few days early.

Lunar New Year Festival & Food Walk

Sat., 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Seattle. Free admission. All ages. Event details.

Valentine’s Day Celebration at the Zoo
Celebrate Valentine’s Day the wild way! Father Daughter Valentine’s Dance

Teddy Bear Clinic (pictured)
At this annual event (designed to help little ones overcome their fear of doctor visits), kids can get their fave stuffed animal checked out by a real doc! Physicians will perform a complete exam (including eyes, ears, and fur!) and if necessary, send patients to a mini-hospital for minor stuffed animal injuries. Sat., 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Bellevue. $8 to $9 (under 1 and members free). Ages 12 and under. Event details.

Happy Heart Valentine Fun

Bellevue. $22 to $25. Registration required. Ages 2 to 5. Event details.
