These grey winter days can sometimes be hard to take. Luckily, we’ve got plenty of cheery events to keep you and the kiddos happy and entertained this (three day!) weekend. Consider: a celebration with lots of rubber duckies, a winter concert with some rockin’ educators, a show for train lovers, a program with curb appeal, a super-fun movie night, and a special tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. If you’ve got a lil’ monster truck lover, head down to the T Dome for Monster Jam (pictured). This family-friendly event promises lots of dirt-flying, car-crushin’ action along with big trucks, big tires, and big fun! And if you’re in Tacoma, stop by the brand new Children’s Museum. The grand opening ceremony will take place on Saturday morning followed by a fun-filled day of new playscapes!
