It’s the last weekend of January and if you haven’t got your fun on this month, there are plenty of opportunities this weekend. Consider: a story time inside a bank, a groovy bounce party, a baseball extravaganza, a lively musical, a fairy tale about a huge frog, and a super-popular winter ball. If you’re looking for some high-energy (indoor fun) head over to the Mount Baker Community Center and catch a performance by The Not-Its! This wildly popular kindie band will play a super-fun set of singable and danceable songs guaranteed to warm you up. And don’t forget about the always-awesome Children’s Film Festival. This 10-day extravaganza kicks off on Thursday and will feature more than 100 films from almost 30 countries as well as a rockin’ pajama party with Caspar Babypants, a pancake breakfast, and a fab awards ceremony.
