We have lots of holiday hoopla going on around the city this weekend. From concerts, festivals, and parties to fireworks, parades, and carnivals. There is something fun going on in every nook and cranny. The animals at Woodland Park Zoo are celebrating the holiday weekend with a Fourth of July picnic. Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival (pictured)
Experience an old-fashioned, down-home waterfront festival where everything is fun, almost everything is free, and nothing is fancy. This festival is as authentically grassroots American as you can get. Take a boat ride with the fam, tour some super-cool vessels, try your hand at family boat building and enjoy great food and tunes along the shores of Lake Union.
