From animal encounters to nature walks to train rides, we’ve rounded up a variety of ways to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with the fam. Consider: a mommy and me tradition, a family activity with fungi, an early morning run, a rodeo for cyclists, a fair centered around nature, and a scenic trip aboard a steam train. If that’s not enough excitement, take your little ones to the Tacoma Dome to see Sesame Street Live: Can’t Stop Singing (pictured). This rockin’ show will feature Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and the entire Sesame Street gang in a nonstop, all-singing, all-dancing musical montage! And be sure to check our Mother’s Day activity guide for lots of mom-themed events going on around the city. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Red Tricycle!
