The first full weekend in May is here. Go on a Bilingual Story Walk
It’s your last chance to catch this outdoor Dia event. To celebrate El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day), SPL is bringing a bilingual StoryWalk to the South Park Branch library. Mother’s Day Celebration at Oxbow Farm

Family Intro to Bouldering Class
Plan an outing to Half Moon Bouldering for this into class geared towards parents and kids. The class covers how to climb and fall safely, what a climbing problem is and beginning climbing technique. Offered in a fun, interactive manner with climbing games and lots of movement to keep kids and parents engaged. Mikey the Rad Scientist Show
Seattle fave Mikey the Rad Scientist is bringing his show straight to your living room this weekend. Kids will love the way Mikey brings science and nature to life with his creative, interactive and engaging music. From the adventures of a water molecule named Carlos, to a musical journey to the center of the earth; his music strikes a chord with children and parents alike. Tickets required. Sat. Mother’s Day Paddle Trip
Instead of giving mom flowers this Mother’s Day give her an experience. Paddle past the glass museum and under the 11th street bridge, taking in the sights and sounds of the Urban waterway. Comedy Magic Circus Show
Mercer Island Preschool Association’s annual family circus has been reimagined for 2021. Join us from home for Sammie and Tudie’s Comedy Magic Circus Show. This comedy powerhouse has been amusing families in New York City for over 20 years! With your tickets, you’ll get a 30-minute virtual performance and a family goodie bag with swag from MIPA sponsors and a few special surprises that’ll allow your kids to follow along with tricks at home.
