Even though the kids are back in school, there’s still plenty of late-summer fun to be had around the city this weekend. For starters, we have a wildly popular music class, a farm-tastic fair and a celebration with Aloha Spirit. We also have a three-day festival with tons of hands-on activities, a market just for kids, and a fundraiser for you and Fido. Starting this weekend, you can do the Puyallup and get your Fisher scone fix at the same time! The always-awesome Washington State Fair (pictured) returns with three weeks of fab food, fun, and farm animals plus FREE gate admission on opening day from 9:00 am to noon (with a non-perishable food donation) and FREE admission for the kiddies on Saturday and Sunday (with coupon).
