This weekend, we’re ushering in fall with a healthy dose of family fun! For starters, we have a festival with lots of Baklava, an annual event with Oktoberfest flair, and a festival known for its oyster slurping contest! We also have a fab performance in the park, a family day inspired by Nickelodeon, and a movie with lots of furry creatures! Saint Demetrios Greek Festival (pictured)
This super-fun festival will feature everything and anything Greek! Wurst Festival
Celebrate the end of summer at this annual Oktoberfest style festival. Fishermen’s Fall Festival
At this annual festival, enjoy a salmon barbecue while watching the oyster slurp contest, the salmon fillet challenge, and the survival suit races! For the Littles, there will be lots of activities including miniature boat building, fish prints, and oyster art plus a keep or release trout pond, a jumpy ship, face painting, and a live show by The Reptile Man. Professor Pomme

Mercer Island Day of Play
