This weekend, there’s plenty of frolicking fun to be had around the city. For starters, we have zucchini races (think zukes on wheels!), a fun concert in French and Spanish, a harvest celebration, and a party with a wildly popular kindie rock band. We also have lots of fish fun at the Mercer Slough, a country fair in Bellevue, and a classic car extravaganza in Edmonds. This week, you can get your fair on. The always-popular Puyallup Fair returns with three weeks of food, fun, farm animals, and those famous Fisher scones! Plus, members of the military, firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical service workers can enjoy free admission at Woodland Park Zoo (and half-price admission for their families) during Heroes Weekend at the Zoo.
