This relatively new Phinney Ridge eatery from the chef behind Eastlake’s Little Water Cantina (and partners) boasts a menu of nouveau Mexican food that takes a twist on familiar south-of-the-border dishes.

SRW deal: Choose from appetizers like fried plantains or crab empanadas; entrée options include tacos or a tamale filled with slow-cooked cochinita pibil. For dessert, try the rhubarb tres leches for a sweet, seasonal treat. All three courses are predominantly gluten-free—worth noting if that’s a concern. (Dinner only).

For the kids: Everything, from a simple cheese quesadilla to a crispy chicken flauta, is just $6 and includes baby carrots, rice, and a beverage.
