The suspense is killing us! Are the Sonics coming back to Seattle? Every day seems to reveal a new element to this nail biter of a story that is making diehard fans that much closer to needing an $8 beer at the good old Key. While our kids were mere babes the last time the Sonics were shooting free throws (they made the move to Oklahoma City in 2008), we have no shame in using them to put a little good Sonic energy into the universe in hopes of securing their spot in Sea-town again. Come on, Seattle families! Show a little green and gold love for your Seattle Supersonics! We can hear you chanting now… Let’s go, Sonics, let’s go! Clap clap clap!

Available in Youth sizes, these Sonics T-Shirts are a classic for any young Sonics fan! Choose from your favorite Sonic’s player — Shawn Kemp (who was also their coach for a while!) or Gary Payton. ($18, SeattleTeams.com)

Mixing the last Sonics’ logo with a little new school style, this New Era Cap is in Youth size with an adjustable back to fit most kiddos. Hip parent tip: You’re suppose to leave that sticker on the bill on the hat, even while you’re wearing it. ($23, SeattleTeams.com)

Have you heard about these socks? They’re a Seattle company and if you’ve seen a teenaged boy in Seattle lately (yes, they do exist), it’s likely they were wearing Strideline socks. The SeaTownSuperSonic version will have you shouting D-D-D-Defense from the top of the Space Needle! ($14, Strideline.com)

Check out this sweet reversible Sonics Reversible Hooded Jacket — it comes in both toddler and youth sizes and sports the logo that the Sonics used before switching back to the old school logo, just before they headed out of town. ($12, Amazon.com)

They have no idea who the Sonics are or why you’re jumping up and down about them coming back to town, but your littlest one can still jump on the bandwagon with this Sonics Creeper and Pants Set. Look at it this way. These lucky babies will never have to live a day without an NBA team in Seattle. Kids have it so good these days. ($18, Amazon.com)
