Studio East Training for the Performing Arts

Studio East Training for the Performing Arts has provided theater arts education for children ages 3 through 19 since 1992. Today, Studio East is one of the largest children’s theater training programs in the Seattle area, serving over 70,000 people annually. Studio East believes that the discipline, dedication, and teamwork required by theater arts teaches kids valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. In keeping with this philosophy, Studio East strives to create opportunities for young people to discover and explore the performing arts through a variety of theater classes and workshops.

Theater education at Studio East falls into these categories:

• Quarterly after school classes

• Homeschool classes

• School break camps

• Summer camps

• Teenage intensive courses

• Mainstage productions for young performers and teenagers

• Summer musicals for young performers and teenagers

Studio East also produces StoryBook Theater. Introducing younger audiences to live theater since 1998, StoryBook Theater tours the Puget Sound region with 55-minute original musicals for both school field trips and the general public.
