Kids struck it big this past year in Seattle. Innovative companies opened, new playgrounds sprouted up, trendy hangouts moved into town and new indoor play spaces took tots by storm. Here are our picks for the 15 best things to arrive on the Seattle kiddie scene in 2015.

Google Park

Families searching the Eastside for a fresh, new place to play in 2015 found delight in the newly opened Google Park. This sprawling new spot on the Cross Kirkland Corridor (within Google’s Eastside campus) provides families of all ages with new recreational opportunities including a sand volleyball court, basketball court, Crossfit/TRX fitness section, bocce ball court and plenty of lush lawns to play or spread out on. Throw in an awesome climbing structure and a zippy tot-friendly zip line and you can see why this park is a huge hit with the Littles.
