At this three-day music and cultural festival, celebrate the best of the Northwest’s African American community and African Diaspora culture. Enjoy music, food, culture and tons of family fun, plus take in the AfricanTown Heritage Parade featuring dance troops and drill teams, the Children’s Day & Familly Fun Village, Soul N The Park, a basketball tournament, food trucks, a vendor marketplace and community resource fair and more!
About the festival:
The purpose of the festival and parade is to highlight the history and countless contributions of African-Americans locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. It is a celebration that gives people for all over Washington and the Northwest an opportunity to experience the rich African heritage and culture of the region.
