Make it a priority to head to Whidbey Island and historic Coupeville March 7-8 for the annual Penn Cove Musselfest!

Now in its 29th year, the festival celebrates the delicious mussels know throughout the country for their meaty texture and sweet flavor. Whether you observe or take part in the mussel-eating contest, or delight in the chowder competition, many tastings or cooking demonstrations, you will come away pleasantly satiated. And don’t forget to take a tour of the mussel farm, either!

Add in some beer and live entertainment for the kiddos, and you have your whole weekend planned!
