This weekend, we’ve got a great mix of outdoor events to keep everyone in your crew happy and entertained. On our radar: a huge block party in the city, an annual neighborhood get-together, a fun finish line party, a popular three-day summer festival, an overnight for lil’ campers and a family activity with mind blowing magic. If you’re still looking for more excitement, SalmonFest Seattle (formerly Pioneer Days) returns this weekend with a vintage car show, ton of kids’ activities, live entertainment and a huge Kids’ Parade and Grand Performance Parade through the streets of Lake City.

South Lake Union Block Party
Celebrate the great community of South Lake Union with a fab block party. In addition to live entertainment, a burger grilling competition and food vendors, there will be an awesome Kids’ Zone with a bounce house, face painting, giant slide, hands-on activities, appearances by Seattle Seahawks Blitz and Boom and much more. PhinneyWood Summer Streets
At this annual neighborhood extravaganza, enjoy the sights and sounds of Phinney Ridge and Greenwood on foot or on bike. In addition to art and games, this year’s Summer Streets will feature two music stages, over 30 family-friendly activities, sidewalk sales, skateboard demos and even a dog agility course. Obliteride Finish Line Festival (pictured)
This two-day fundraiser for Fred Hutch will finish at Gas Works Park with tons of family fun. Cheer on the riders as they cross the finish line and enjoy live music from popular Seattle musicians, sponsor booths, food and more. Sun., 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Seattle. Free. Event details.


Kirkland SummerFest
Head to downtown Kirkland for this annual arts and music festival. This year’s festival will feature five entertainment stages, a fab Kids Zone with rides, games, inflatables, face painting and touch-a-truck vehicles as well as art vendors, food trucks, dragon boat races and the popular Duck Dash. Camp Burbank Community Camp Out
At this family camp out, you supply the tent, personal items and sleeping bags and the City of Mercer Island will provide the cooking, cleaning and fun things to do like water activities, games, s’mores and more. Family Night at Crossroads Bellevue
Take the fam to Crossroads Bellevue Shopping Center for an evening of entertainment and activities.
