January is coming to a close and if you haven’t got your fun on this month, there are plenty of opportunities this weekend. Consider: a party for LEGO lovers, a rockin’ kindie concert, a two-day festival for baseball fans, a guided winter walk, an open house for lil’ nature lovers, and a wintertime ball fit for a ballerina. This week, the always-awesome Children’s Film Festival also kicks off. The 11-day film extravaganza will feature more than 100 films from 30 different countries as well as a rockin’ Pajama Party with Recess Monkey, a fab Pancakes & Short Film Smorgasbord, and a fun closing ceremony!

A Brick Party for LEGO Lovers
Celebrate the opening of  EMP’s latest exhibit Block by Block: Inventing Amazing Architecture with an evening packed full of LEGO fun. Polliwog Preschool Open House
At this open house, you can kill two birds with one stone. Check out the Polliwog Preschool, meet the teachers, visit the classroom and facility and find out more about this play-based, multi-aged preschool for kids ages three to five as well as explore the beauty of Mercer Slough Nature Park. PNB Winter Wonderland Ball
Join PNB dancers Laura and Jerome Tisserand for this magical ball.
