This weekend, the Emerald City is going festival bonkers! Consider: a quirky community festival in Ballard, a ride aboard our favorite blue train, an annual parade featuring tons (and tons!) of kiddies and a popular music fest designed for the whole fam. Ballard SeafoodFest
This unique and quirky community festival (now in its 446th year!) will have a little something for everyone. Enjoy fab entertainment, the annual Lutefisk Eating Contest, a salmon barbecue, juried arts and crafts, food vendors and kids’ activities galore. Fri.-Sun. (family activities on Sat. & Sun. only). West Seattle Summer Fest
This weekend, the biggest party of the year hits the streets of West Seattle. During this three-day festival, take in tons of vendor booths, arts and crafts and live music on multiple stages, plus enjoy delish local grub and let the kiddies get their wiggles out in the awesome Kids Area. Wallingford Family Parade
Grab a curbside seat along 45th St. and watch marching bands, drill teams, Seafair clowns, fire trucks and tons of kiddies travel through Wallingford. Psst! Want to join the parade? Come in costume and bring your decorated bikes, wagons and scooters. Sat. Event details.


Timber! Outdoor Music Festival
Back by popular demand, this awesome music fest will include three days of crowd-friendly  folk, rock and pop performances along with all-ages activities like camping, kayaking and more.
