We’re moving into mid-June with a weekend jam-packed with family fun. On our radar: an urban celebration in the streets, two events inspired by water, a rockin’ concert with plenty of jump-tastic tunes, a family night with a tropical twist and an annual Swedish celebration with tons of kids’ activities. If you’re looking for even more excitement, explore a Washington State Park for Free or celebrate National Marina Day with tons of fun activities both on and off the water.

Art on the Fly                        
You don’t want to miss this annual outdoor celebration. This year’s event will feature urban dance and art, roving performances, flash mobs, free dance classes, an artisan craft fair, kids’ activities and food specialties from famed food trucks from The Mobile Food Truck Rodeo Sat., 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Seattle. Ballard Water Fest
There will be plenty of summertime fun to be had at this family fair. Enjoy food trucks, water-based art and science activities for kids of all ages (even grownups!), games with water-themed prizes and much more. World Ocean Weekend
Take your crew to the Seattle Aquarium to celebrate the world’s one big ocean and to learn how to be an ocean hero! There will be a variety of hands-on activities and special demonstrations, plus diver shows, story times, games, special feedings and more. Springfree Trampoline Family Concert Series with Recess Monkey
Take your crew to Springfree Trampoline in Issaquah to jump on their awesome trampolines and enjoy a set of singable, danceable, high-energy songs from Recess Monkey. This rockin’ show will include some old faves along with some new tunes from the band’s Wired album. Psst! This concert will benefit Eastside Baby Corner, so please bring a new or gently used children’s book to donate. Sat., 2 p.m.-3 p.m. Issaquah. Free. Ages 0-12. Event details.

Family Night at Crossroads Bellevue
Take the fam to Crossroads Bellevue Shopping Center for a super-fun evening. In addition to family game time, there will be a highly entertaining show by Ian Dobson’s Pan Leggo on the Market Stage, free popcorn, $1.50 off admission to WiggleWorks Kids and pizza and drink deals. Vasa Park’s Midsummer Festival
This annual Swedish celebration (marking the start of summer) will include tons of family fun. Enjoy Swedish dance and music performances, the famous midsummer maypole wrapping and lots of kids’ activities including pony rides, face painting, a bouncy house and old-time kid’s races and games.
