If your crew is in need of an adventure this weekend, head to Northwest Trek for Slug Fest. At this annual slug extravaganza, get up close and personal with banana slugs, participate in the always-hilarious human slug races, and enjoy plenty of hands-on crafts and activities.

We can’t think of a better way to kick off your TGIF than with a family happy hour. Canoe Mercer Slough
Explore the beautiful Mercer Slough Nature Park by water. Park rangers will lead this 3-hour canoe trip from Enatai Beach Park into the heart of Mercer Slough Nature Park. See how this amazing ecosystem functions and with a little luck—catch a glimpse of the otters, herons, turtles and other wildlife living in Mercer Slough. Sat. & Sun.
