From pirates to strawberries to cars—the last weekend of June brings summertime festivals galore! On our radar: a hands-on event for junior firefighters, a show with hundreds of lean, mean, cruz’n machines, an annual event for swashbucklers, an old-fashioned party in the park, a berry-licious festival, and an adventure through the wetlands. Also this weekend, Seattle Parks Big Day of Play has a new date and a new location. Head to the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center for health-minded family activities, water and beach activities, fitness demonstrations, an awesome Kids Zone, and live music and entertainment.
