This weekend, we’ve got a great lineup of fun things to do, see, and hear around the city!  On our radar: a huge cultural festival under the Needle, a party with some popular Seattle pirates, a family celebration along the waterfront, a classic story about a boy who could fly, a fun day on the trails, and a family walk for a great cause. The Northwest Pinball & Arcade Show also returns this weekend with more pinball and arcade games than ever before as well as vendors, tournaments, a Kids Zone, giveaways and contests.



Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival
At this annual festival, learn all about the arts and culture of the Philippines through music and dance performances, arts and crafts, Filipino youth drill teams, food, games, exhibits, kids’ activities, martial art demonstrations, and much more. Seafair Pirates Kukuruza Popcorn Launch Party
Ahoy, mateys! The Seafair Pirates will be making an appearance at KuKuRuZa Gourmet Popcorn’s downtown store to introduce the newest flavor, aptly named Pirate’s Treasure. The first 300 guests will receive a free bag of Pirate’s Treasure, and everyone will have the opportunity to try all of KuKuRuZa’s delish flavors, and meet the Seafair Pirates in person. Sat., 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Seattle. Waterfront Whimsea Family Fun Day (pictured)
Take the fam to Waterfront Park for a big pre-summer celebration! Enjoy live music and entertainment by the Not-Its!, the Bubbleman and Bruce Meyers, visit with the Seafair Clowns, watch a Seattle firefighter presentation on Elliott Bay, and enjoy a bounce house, games, and prizes. Sun., 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Seattle. Trail’s Day & Letterboxing at Pioneer Park

Strollin’ to Fight SIDS
