Since Thanksgiving falls a little later this year, you have an extra weekend to ease into the holiday season and enjoy some good ol’ family fun. On our weekend radar: an event with plenty of teddy bear TLC, a turkey feast for the animals, a rockin’ Saturday morning concert, an all-ages holiday production, a high-energy musical, and a walk for big and lil’ turkeys. If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off the Christmas season, take your crew to an authentic Nordic Christmas celebration. Yulefest will feature hand-crafted gifts, live music, traditional Nordic cuisine, holiday-themed crafts and visits with the big guy in red himself.
