Día de los Muertos
Celebrate Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) at SAM by checking out this year’s unique tapete (sand painting) installation inspired by Oaxaca’s beautiful traditions. Take your costumed cuties to Capitol Hill for this annual Halloween extravaganza. In addition to live performances, fun games and plenty of hands-on activities at the circus-themed carnival, kids can participate in a traditional costume parade led by a marching band and enjoy trick-or-treating along Broadway & Pike and Pine Streets. Sat. Pumpkin Bash Featuring Boomazium! (pictured)
Kids 12 and under who wear their Halloween costumes to the zoo will receive free admission with each paying adult. While you’re there, watch the hippos, bears, jaguars and monkeys crunch, smash and stomp on pumpkins and enjoy trick-or-treating around the zoo, Halloween-themed activities and plenty of non-scary fun inside Zoomazium. Pee Wee Monster Bash

Family Adventures in Spooky Kooky Concoctions
Take your kid crew to KidsQuest Children’s Museum for a spooktacular night of science. Head into the laboratory for some weird and wacky chemistry, become a mad scientist as you experiment with things that glow, stretch and float and find out the science behind all things spooky and kooky. Free Family Day: Bam-O-Ween
Put on your Halloween costume and fly over to BAM for a super-fun afternoon of thrilling art projects, activities and artist demonstrations, plus games and plenty of festive fun celebrating Halloween and the fall season. Sat. Event details.
