Can you believe this is happening, Seahawks fans? Our hometown football heroes are working their way closer and closer to the Super Bowl every weekend and as they take on the Falcons in Atlanta this Sunday (January 13 at 10:00 am PST, in case you’ve been living in a cave that doesn’t get cable), families across the city will be cheering them on, 12th Man-Style! If you want to get out of the house to watch the game and cheer the ‘Hawks to victory with other fans, give one of these family-friendly sports hotspots in Seattle a try. There’s no doubt that any place broadcasting the game on Sunday is going to be packed to the gills with navy and lime green, and you may want to pack ear protection to keep those delicate eardrums safe from the notorious noise that Seahawks fans tend to generate, but even catching a quarter or two of the game in 12th Man territory will be worth getting out for! GO SEAHAWKS!
Magnolia Village Pub
Nobody ever goes to Magnolia unless they have a reason to and this weekend, watching the Seahawks bring home a victory from Atlanta is the perfect reason to drive to this little Seattle Neighborhood. The MVP, as it’s lovingly called by families, has big-screen TVs in every single corner and on every single wall of their space. Get there early to snag a booth along the wall and settle in for the game! The MVP also features a great kids’ menu and a staff that always brings extra napkins and stocks coloring books for halftime downtime.

Norm’s Eatery and Ale House
Both kid-friendly AND dog-friendly, Norm’s in Fremont is another place to catch the big game this weekend. Yeah, parking is a hassle in this cozy, but busy neighborhood, but consider all that driving around the block, looking for a spot, good practice in patience for your kids! Once inside, you’ll want one of the booths along the side of the restaurants where you can easily see the TVs and catch the game. Don’t forget to order a bowl of their tasty chili for lunch and, if you’re so inclined, bring Fido with you! We weren’t kidding about being both dog and kid-friendly!

If a family-friendly restaurant, a brewery and a sports bar had a baby, that baby would be The Ram. With locations around Seattle and a focus on meshing the worlds of kids and parents, when it comes to dining, you’ll feel comfortable and relaxed catching those touchdowns at The RAM. There can often be a wait at RAM locations, so go early and take your pick of the tables to catch the game. At the Northgate location, there bar is open into the restaurant, so you’ll be able to see the screens there, as well as the ones that are scattered towards the back, near the bar. At University Village, the screens are closer to the back corner of the restaurant, including in that little room towards the back, just before you head off to the restrooms – snag a spot there if you can! At either location, you’re not going to be able to miss the cheers!
