Getting back to work after having a baby is no easy feat. From catching up on what you’ve missed to needing time to get used to the changes of your post-baby body, even the world’s greatest athlete struggles with the same things all moms do. Serena Williams lost Wimbledon this weekend, but the path she took to get back to the game is an inspiration for all working moms, which is why it’s perfectly fitting that she dedicated her loss “to all the moms.

After her loss at Wimbledon over the weekend, Williams shared her thoughts in a post-match interview saying, “I’m just me, and that’s all I can be. To all the moms out there, I was playing for you today, and I tried.” It’s not just the single match that Williams has given all moms, however. Everything she’s done to get back to work has been a win for moms.

Just 10 months after giving birth to her daughter, Williams was back on one of the most famous tennis courts in the world to reclaim the championship title, but the road to get there was not an easy one.

The tennis super star and new mom faced many hurdles along the way, including losing matches and being penalized for her pregnancy by dropping in seeding for her time off. Through it all she has persevered, inspiring others and even affecting change that will help other female athletes.

Her incredibly supportive husband, reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, has been setting a pretty great example himself, cheering Williams on along the way and championing for more parental leave for moms and dads. His response to his wife’s Wimbledon loss was just one more reason why he’s awesome.

Sharing a photo of Williams on Instagram with the words “Just getting started,” Ohanian wrote, “Congratulations, @angie.kerber@serenawilliams will be holding a trophy again soon—she’s got the greatest one waiting at home for her. Our family knows she’ll win many more trophies, too. She’s just getting started. And I couldn’t be more proud.” Is it just me, or is it getting awfully dusty in here?

We definitely look forward to seeing more from this inspiring mama.
