Sesame Workshop recently launched a variety of free resources to help children and families during the coronavirus pandemic. Sesame Street has started an online series called Snack Chat. These videos starring Cookie Monster will air every Tues. on YouTube and Facebook.
Cookie Monster teaches kids about the importance of staying healthy. At the beginning of the video, Cookie Monster reminds kids to wash their hands before eating and highlights healthy choices they can make at snack time.
Sesame Street‘s new Caring for Each Other initiative includes resources for families to help them with distance learning and creating new routines for children to follow. Free eBooks and other downloadable materials are currently available as well.
