Encinitas Oktoberfest

Head to this street fair that stretches over six blocks in downtown Encinitas and enjoy the Bavarian dancers, German music and Oktoberfest parade at noon. Little fair-goers can ride the carnival rides, rock climb and revel in pint-sized activities. You'll find a local craft beer garden and a separate family food and drink tent (that has German food and beer too). Free parking is available at Flora Vista Elementary School.

Date: Oct. 1; 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Admission: Free (bring cash for rides and eats)
