Take the day to get outdoors and expend some energy in anticipation of a laid back Sunday (or maybe not, depending on how much of a football fan you are). Have you taken your kids Tidepooling lately? This is the perfect time of year for tidepooling because the minus tides mean wider beaches, so join up with the experts from Birch Aquarium for a fun and educational experience.
We’ve partnered up with the moms behind Red Tricycle, a site that focuses on the “lighter side” of parenting, bringing their picks of stuff to do around San Diego with kids. Like what you see? Then get your fresh weekly picks of awesome adventures delivered directly to your inbox!
Kids of all ages love exploring tidepools. Visit one of our local tidepools where Birch Aquarium trained naturalists will show you how to discover the wonderful world of tidepools. Discover how these amazing habitats and their inhabitants truly survive “between a rock and a hard place.” Sat., 12:30 pm. Dike Rock. $10-$12. All ages. Event Details.
