The Gluten Free Baking Co.
Founded by San Diegan Roanna Canete, the newly opening Gluten Free Baking Co. offers gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan dessert boxes for pickup or curbside delivery at three spots in San Diego. Grab a dessert box filled with cream puffs, donuts, lemon bars, lava cakes, cupcakes, churros and other goodies. Even more, add-in fresh baked breads and if you’re short on non-latex gloves, toilet paper, and paper towels, (like most of us) you can add those items to your order too. Also, be on the look-out for Special Saturday Drive-thru treats posted on the website.

The Cravory

Jenny Wenny Cakes
Jenny Wenny Cakes is full of tempting treats decorated to perfection. Order-up little goodies and cakes like coffee and walnut cakelets for $4, or regular-sized cupcakes ($20 for 6) in vanilla, chocolate and hazelnut flavors. Or go big and order a Treat Box for $20 with 15 items including cookies, bars and cake. Check their Facebook page for weekly updates on what’s available for that week. They have waived all minimums. Also, they will continue to operate during the pandemic and are performing much more additional sanitation. Plus, they are working in shifts to keep them and you safe. When you arrive, you’ll find the doors locked as they do curbside touch-less pickup.

The Goods
If you’re craving an artisanal donut, head to The Goods to pick up a dozen! From gluten-free Tahitian vanilla, sugared marshmallow fluff and Vermont maple bacon there’s many choices to satisfy the whole crew. You can see a list of what’s available and make your choices on their Instagram page. Be sure to go early to pick-up in the day to make sure they have what you want. Or another option is to choose delivery on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Even more, you can add-in items like avocado toast or coffee to boot!
