The summer reading programs may have ended, but that’s no excuse to stop visiting your local library! Get ready to dive back into books with your kids. The whole family can curl up and enjoy story time together for free at these San Diego libraries. Kids don’t have to be school-age to enjoy reading, either. Click through the slideshow to check out these spots that have a variety of programs for kids of all ages, infant to teen!

Imperial Beach Library

Imperial Beach Library has two ongoing programs for storytime throughout the school year.

For ages 0-2: The Library offers a toddler storytime program every Tuesday at 10 a.m. Toddlers and their parents can enjoy storytime and sing songs together. Afterwards there is a craft time where kids can create different projects incorporating what they just learned.

For ages 3-5: Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. preschool-age kids enjoy Preschool Storytime and Crafts. Parents are encouraged to attend as well and help kids create their own crafts, listen to the stories and sing along during song time.
