People, people, everywhere! Have you ever wanted to go somewhere, but decided not to because you thought it would be too crowded? Living in a large city means constantly competing with others to participate. And when you have little kids with you, it makes that competition a bit more challenging. By planning ahead and using these insider tips, you can still enjoy all San Diego has to offer with fewer crowds to battle.

Coronado Dog Beach

San Diego has some of the best beaches around and Coronado Dog Beach is, by far, a favorite! The advantage of Dog Beach is it's quieter (and less crowded) than Coronado Beach itself. It gets busy on the weekends and especially during holidays and summer months. If you go during those peak times, your best-bet for hassle-free parking is on Pine St. or Alder St. While it may require a bit of a walk, there's plenty of street parking in those areas. Once you get to the beach, head right and pick a spot close to the fence (on the north side of the beach) that is considerably less busy.
