Lilac Festival
The weekend’s activities will include hayrides, archery, tomahawk throwing, candle dipping, face painting, pony rides, and vendor shopping. And, if they don’t bloom too early, we should have some beautifully fragrant lilacs available for purchase. This old mining town has attracted people from all over because of its rich history, old time rustic charm, and of course the pies. Back in the 1960’s, the area that is surrounding Fort Cross was famous for their lilacs. It’s our goal to bring that same excitement and experience back to the area! Sat. and Sun., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Fort Cross, Free-$8/person. All ages. Event details
