Spring is in full bloom in San Diego with so many different events that are outdoors and in tune with nature. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend that doesn’t involve Easter egg hunts, check out Sailor’s Days or Day at the Docks downtown. Or head to North County for an Earth Day Festival and the annual Avocado Festival. Tavel south for the annual Village Street Faire in Chula Vista. San Diego

Art Alive’s Garden of Activities
Make giant paper flowers, read nature-inpsired tales, and participate in a flower hunt during the museum’s annual floral exhibition. Sat., 12 – 4 pm, San Diego Museum of Art, Ages 6 – 12, Free with admission. Event details.

Sailor’s Days
Lots of fun things to do: scavenger hunt with prize, make brass rubbings, ferryboat steam engine demos, explore our ships, raising sail, rope making, knot tying, rowing.  Activities available vary each day and are offered with paid admission to the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Day at the Docks

Seussical the Musical

Connect with nature and go green at this fun event with live music, a plant sale, vendors and fun for the kiddos. Village Street Faire
This Chula Vista family oriented, free event brings the community together for entertainment, food and fun!
