It may be Easter weekend, but there’s a lot more happening in San Diego than just egg hunt events! Head to the Maritime Museum for old-fashioned sailing and ocean activities with Sailor’s Days. Eggstravaganza at Birch Aquarium
Celebrate the arrival of spring and the changes it brings by joining the Birch Aquarium at Scripps for Eggstravaganza! Explore animal eggs, discover changes in the sea by making your own plankton, create a shark egg craft, and participate in an underwater egg hunt; no baskets needed. Guests are completely immersed by thousands of butterflies as they walk through the Hidden Jungle aviary. The 30 species of butterflies highlighted this year hail from Africa, Asia and Central and South America and include the zebra longwing, orange-barred tiger and Grecian shoemaker.
