Let’s hope the weather is fabulous this weekend because San Diego is all about outdoor fun in the sun and summer evenings. There are events all over the county including a Longboard Contest in Oceanside, Hot Summer Nites in Fallbrook, Snores & S’mores in Carlsbad, and the Dog Days of Summer in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. And that’s only in North County! Families will enjoy the Lemon Festival in Chula Vista, Fiesta Del Sol at Cesar Chavez Park, and CityFest in Hillcrest. But if you need something indoors, try the Target Free Sunday at the New Children’s Museum. Get out the sunscreen and enjoy a fun San Diego summer weekend.

Dog Days of Summer
Take the family (even the canines) to the 7th Annual Dog Days of Summer Canine Festival & Contest. Enjoy San Diego’s largest dog-centric event with more than 130 vendors, a blessing of the dog, dog contests, live music, food, agility course, a doggie photo booth, doggie crafts, and a doggie beach.
