Sailor’s Days
Lots of fun things to do: scavenger hunt with prize, make brass rubbings, ferryboat steam engine demos, explore our ships, raising sail, rope making, knot tying, rowing.  Activities available vary each day and are offered with paid admission to the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Sweet Petite Confections Summer Chocolate Class
Sweet Petite Confections celebrates the season with a trio of summertime-themed chocolate making classes and, for a limited time, chocolate bark “flights” featuring new summer flavors. Today’s class theme is “Summer of Aloha.” Enjoy playing with the flavors of paradise from the Aloha State, including toasted coconut infused ganache and passion fruit caramel, plus mango, pineapple, toasted macadamia nuts and more for chocolate barks with a tropical twist. Obon Festival
The community is invited to enjoy the 2016 San Diego Bon Odori, a traditional Japanese Nenbutsu folk dance, or a “gathering of joy.” Enjoy food, entertainment and fun!
