Who says car shows are just for adults? The Mazda Family Day makes San Diego’s popular car show a family one. The day is packed with kid-centered activities, including the Camp Jeep Kids’ Course, a climbing wall and more. Sun, 10:00 am. San Diego Convention Center. Kids’ New Year’s Eve at Legoland
Get your (family) party on, Times Square style. The Kids’ New Year’s Eve bash at Legoland features a kids’ concert and countdown to the New Year. The ball may not drop here, but a giant Lego brick sure will! You’ll ring in 2012 with those who matter most to you as a huge Lego brick drops 22 feet into 2012. It’s not to late to catch the Del Mar Holiday of Lights. This is your last chance! Hit up the Del Mar Fairgrounds (in your car) before the largest animated drive-through light show on the West Coast is gone until Christmas 2012. Sun, 5:30 pm. Del Mar Fairgrounds. $14 per car.
