It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and while the holiday of hearts isn’t until Tuesday, many people are celebrating this weekend. If you’re planning to leave the little ones with a sitter for a romantic night out with your other (we said other, not better!) half, get out during the day as a family for one of these fun events. The Padres FanFest is always a big hit with baseball fans big and small and is full of great opportunities to get up close and personal with the players and experience the field. On Saturday morning, North Country families can drop by the library for a fun Origami Valentine making craft. Or, if Grandma wants to hang with the kids on Saturday afternoon, sneak away to a chocolate festival as a couple. Enjoy the weekend — whether you make it all about hearts and love or stick with the regular.
